And she has stripes.

We have some lovely 'zebra' chickens here - Sydney of course, and then a bunch of lovely Dominiques, there is just something about a lovely BR/Cuckoo patterned chook, they are jus so sharp looking.
Definitely! Cuckoo! I always wanted one of these in Cuckoo but no one nearby had them!

I noted it before, HRH has a lovely comb, but no wattles (bearded chooks I guess don't have wattles??? ). But I cannot remember seeing other chooks that have lovely combs but no wattles.

Who else out there has one or the other (wattles no comb or comb no/small wattles).
A rare Netherlands breed that is pretty impossible to find in North America now:

WATTLES & NO COMB ~ The Breda Fowl has no comb, cavernous crow-like nostrils, a small triangular tassel crest, vulture hocks, feathered legs/toes, & come in Cuckoo, BBS, & Mottled.

Take a camera shot of a 5-Silkie nestbox! Our boxes are 11"x11" so only 3 Silkies fit in our boxes!

They have since been broken and finally as of 3 days ago back to laying.

I blame that gang for taking all my attention and being so stubborn that I never double checked to see if any of the other hens were broody.

Goose and Gryffyn timed that perfectly. Goose was actually a total shock to be honest. She had already been stubbornly broody and had just broken up when she pulled her stunt. Honestly I do not think she went even 5 days in between broody spells. If all goes well in a couple days I will have one final chick from the broody fiasco. Spooky is sticking to that egg like glue and it has continued to develop. I candled it last night and from what I saw, I am on pip watch anytime. My other cochin Flurry, has decided to hog the other nest box 2 days ago and has decided to join the broody gang. I am done and nope, I will break you Flurry.

Did Reenie's colic go away?
Yes thank you for asking, likley the hot humid weather, it was cool then all of a sudden hot and humid. And back to chilly end of this week and now we are in a heat alert. I might keep them inside on Monday.

I have all my fans ready to roll, the heat is one thing, but the high humidity makes it far worse.

The chooks are all inside now, it’s pelting down rain. Not sure what the ruckus is all about in here, better for check I guess they are all carrying on…

Those nostrils frequently occur with V-comb birds. I wonder if there's a connection back in history somewhere.
