Jax, the pretty boy. I'm guessing from his wing tips he's got a bit of Bielefelder in him, but truly don't know.

Koonj my Thing granddaughter. Named after the Demoiselle Crane

Called Koonj in India, and considered a creature of grace and elegance.

Matilda, my tree climber, after Roald Dahl's intrepid little lady.

and the splash in the middle is Arabel, to go with Mortimer the little black cockerel....of whom I can find NO good pics at the moment. Joan Aiken wrote a series of stories, illustrated by Quentin Blake about a large black Raven and his little girl,Arabel. I always enjoyed those stories and as she's frequently snuggled down with him, it seems fitting. He's also small enough to get himself into trouble....like Matilda....
