Cheetah's tail is currently a single long tattered flag.....and a mass of stubby bits under the base of it. Yesterday, he was still pretty smooth through his body. To day, he's a rumpled disaster.

No pics of him as he's just run off the top of the frameas it sits in the post.View attachment 4220804

Wonder if the sideways glitch would be normal if posting on phone in landscape mode (terrible as keyboard takes up 90% of the screen, leaving you typing blind)
There must be somewhere to report glitches from the update. @notabitail do you know where to post issues?

Here seems to be fine.

Or make a separate thread here:

Polish chickie update.

Came home to the one wheezing and coughing - great just great. Now I feel guilty for not being able to bring the other 2 home, and upset because I have some bug here.

Then a mad scramble to find the Tylosin dose. Found the one to make a gallon of it which I did. And shoved about 3cc down the one that was coughing - but noted that she is drinking on her own - thankfully. I also shoved 1cc into the other chick - who isn’t coughing.

But - I notice some mucous-y pink poops that smell sweet-ish.

Has anyone ever seen this? Could it be some sort of enteritis? I think it’s the one who is coughing. If so the Tylosin should take care of that.

Nothing but worry - now I have to plan every step I do, I have to do all the other chooks first, then do the two polish. Disinfect my hands etc.

Poor babies - as long as they are eating and drinking I will have guarded hope.
Coughing blood at all? Heavy mucus points to herpes virus Infectious Layngotracheitis according to Google AI, which jives with these articles below. I hope it's not. Vaccines are available but I'm guessing maybe for big farms only?

Maybe if there's that amount of blood, it could show up as pink poop.

Also noted a very sweet odour which I have read is associated with Mycoplamosis. The Tylosin should help that. And also had some pink poops, if it some sort of coccidiosis or other intestinal thing the Tylosin will help that also. Poor babies. Now I feel more sad for the other two 😢

This is why I don’t go to sales 😢😢😢

I just read that mycoplasmosis has a sweet odour. So I am thinking this is the cause.

If it’s anything like coccidia or other enteritis the Tylosin will also help.

They seem to be eating and drinking, and as long as they continue to eat and drink the Tylosin water I will have guarded hope.

Me and Mr Wyandottey, are in the house now, discussing his future. If (and I’m pretty sure he is) the father of that lovely little chick, then there’s chick $upport, safety with other chooks, and henamony.
He will have to work his tail feathers off to pay for all that! Mr Wyandottey probably doesn’t even realize that leaving his hen to support herself and baby is wrong!
:old

I sent something in the "contact us" link in the 3 bars on the upper left. What happens if you report a post?
I posted on the thread about the upgrade explaining the issue and copying a link to one of your sideways pictures post.

Now he’s really worried about that henamony, and chick support:
Look at him, poor guy- image.jpg
