Figured I should share their new names. I'll get better pictures in a while...having a bit of a hard time looking at chickens right now after burying NiNi...

I brought nacho back in today with her baby chick. They feel comfortable with me. Damn birds break this frozen cold heart of mine!Best of the best news: Nacho has her little girl, but also her sister has ALL eight babies back. This is a triumph! Everyone is safe enough!
One year ago today I got to meet @BY Bob and his lovely wife in person.
Bijou has a ways to go for that sort of epic, but was packing a single tiny leaf the other day
They are accessorizing for Fall!
Good boy!!!!Oliver caught a rat last night, it made a horrible noise I screamed
He's scary

Names? I get a kick out of MurielThese old names are hardly ever heard of now. Ruth, Dorothy, Rose, Blanche, George (for a boy), Bride (or Bridie), Maud, Lorraine... all names one rarely hears these days.
Hmmm Bridie would be a lovely name - I think @micstrachan has a hen name Bridie - or maybe I am thinking of her hen Bridge (spelling?).
Might be a good name for the Partridge Silkie chick, and if it's a boy I can change it to Buddy
