Pics
Took a pic for you. :)

1. From one of my small silkied seramas - 20 grams
2. A larger serama hen - 34 grams
3. Bantam cochin about average size for them - 42 grams
4. Call duck - 52 grams. My ducks are probably a tad larger than higher quality calls.
5. Cream legbars - top egg I got today is much larger than they usually lay 61 grams (maybe double yolk?), below it 48 grams, is more what I usually get from them, although they are still young layers.
6. Black Copper Marans - 65 grams

I cracked open this monster CL egg and yes, it was a double yolker. First double I’ve gotten from any of my breeds in a very long time.

i moved it into brooder box and the temp has stabilized! my hygrometer is still reading about 3* low but meat thermometer is staying 99-100. i candled each egg tonight and I can see development in all but 2. the 2 that i can’t see as well are the BA and the welsummer. the welsummer shell is too dark and the BA looked like a possible blood ring. will hopefully be able to tell more at day 10-14.
I actually had the reverse situation. The room mine is in is 68* incubator was trying to over compensate for that. Running way too warm even though I kept turning it down. Hopefully I haven’t cooked them. A very large cardboard box has controlled the situation and it’s back to normal. Leaving plenty of air space under the box for eggs to breath. Surprised at the warmth the cardboard holds in. Also helps humidity.

Have some early Hatcher's!!!
Astrid, Bernadette(Bernie) and Conner who she named Connie until I told her the white on the head means the babe is a roodle. All BSLs named by my youngest daughter who loves 'Big Bang Theory' and ' How to Train Your Dragon's.

Haven't been posting due to flu B. So much fun*** ( never mind, not in original countas had already removed them...flu sucks)
Also two early quitters and two later quitters. I believe from our recent

Bummer on the flu and early quitters. Heading to get my flu shot now although I usually don’t.
