My girlfriend has twins that look nothing alike. But she still gets all sorts of questions about them.

A favorite is “How do you do it?” Her and her husband joke about the bizarre answers they’d like to give. “It’s illegal not to.” “Lots of wine.” “Benadryl, for them. (with a wink)”

OMG these answers are SOP for me!! :lau

Up until a few weeks ago, I used to joke that the PIC was a tumor, since he was surgically removed (c-section)..... and then I read where someone posted how women who have had c-sections aren't really moms because they didn't *give birth*....

......... these are the people we share our air with Squatchers.... no joke.....

There was a lady in the UK that did a whole list of the rediculous answers she’d like to give about her twins. My favorite was when asked “Are the twins?” the reply “No, triplets. We leave the ugly one at home.”

With her twins not looking alike my gf said when people ask if their twins she’s tempted to answer “No. I found one in the parking lot and thought why not.” She’s afraid they’d send someone after her. :gig

Your friend needs to man up and start saying this stuff... if someone *reported* her/them, they'd have to tell them what she said... and the answers are SO PLAINLY ridiculously funny, no one would take them seriously.

Edit: NM.. someone IS dumb enough to take them seriously... in this day and age where no one has a sense of tatering humour!

It’s been an odd year for chickens. I keep seeing stories about pullets molting. Or pullets not laying through winter. One on my Marans looks like her head is just getting feathers in. Waxy sheaths all over!

Her girls really look nothing alike. She has an older daughter too and one twin looks like her. They both got their genes from mom. Dark hair & dark eyes. The other twin is blonde & blue eyes. Hubbys genes all the way. Her and I marvel at how different they are. How did it happen? Always knew they were fraternal but you’d expect them took look related! It’s amazing how each girl got dominate genes from each parent. Not a blend.

Sounds like someone I knew years ago..... She was half hispanic, but had very pale skin... and her DH was a regular anglo saxon dude. Their first child got HIT with the hispanic genes, dark skinned and dark brown, curly hair. Their 2nd kiddo came out with white blonde, wispy hair and pale blue eyes. They looked NOTHING alike, but they had the same parents..... it was so weird.
