Official Squatch Watchers

I am a big softy too!!

Another gorgeous day, even better than yesterday. Everyone was out at the refuge looking at the Sandhill Cranes when I drove by. Son and I took a hike behind our house. There is an area on the mountain that was covered by the ocean at one point. We saw fossils and the ground is very soft and mushy, so strange. I made 2 sets of perches for the chickens and finished up the coop.
I need to be straightening up the house before hubby gets home! And go fill up the car, go to the grocery store and cook supper. Instead, I sit in the run with the chickens and talk to my chicken friends I have never met.
Sometimes it's easier to talk to a friend you've never met....:hugs

Somebody want him

I'd snip the white tip with nail clippers, just a tiny bit at a time, because if you take off too much it will cut the vessel in there and bleed like all getout.
then proceed with a coarse grit nail file -gently alternating swipes to shape it up as best you can.
Ask your wife if she has one like this.

Yes its pretty bad. Do what Banty posted to help. Take just a little off and in a week maybe a little more. That sort of issue will need regular maintenance just for the bird to live. I would not breed that bird or its parent stock. Sorry Sammy. :hugs
I would raise to butcher size and then have supper.
That so sux taters. :hugs:hugs

:idunno I use dog nailclippers.
