Official Squatch Watchers

What a happy cute little guy @pitbullmomma!
:love Wonderful that you had decent weather for the outing.

Bummer about the job. You'll find one that fits. :hugs

Yep, I know.

I was thinking about @FlyingNunFarm and her house not going through, when I got that letter. I've become kinda philosophical about stuff any more...I tend to believe stuff happens for a reason (except the really senseless stuff).

Something better will come along (hopefully).

Nunny, when my hub and I were looking for our house, it took over a year. We bid on, I wanna say, like 5 different houses before we got this one. And every one that fell through, I cried and got really upset about. My BFF--who is also my realtor--kept saying
"Everything happens for a reason--you will find a better house! It will happen." I was like, Yeah right, whatever. But you know what?

The house we got (the one we live in now) turned out to be the most perfect one after all. It had the best property, the perfect layout, great neighbors....those other houses wouldn't have been anywhere near as good.

So just keep the faith, and keep looking! When it is meant to be you will get the perfect house for you, and you'll look back and be really glad those other ones didnt come through. :)

Wow, you look terrific. 61 seems ancient to me. How did i get here?

Thanks, it's crazy, right?! How did we get this old?! My husband is 60, but neither one of us looks our age. I think it's cuz we're both kind of immature, and I have this theory that if you think and act young, you look young....either that or just good genes!

When I get bummed about the age thing, I remember that the alternative is far worse. When I was young (and very wild) I never thought I would live past my 30's. I thought 40 was old, lol. Now my little sis is 43 and she has a baby, and she thinks she is old. It's all relative, I guess...

Thanks, but I'm no baby!! I'm 54, lol (that sounds SO FREAKING OLD to read, I can't even believe it!!)

:th I would have guessed you in your early 30's!!!!!

:oldI am not quite 50 But those years are showing hard core here. Been grey almost 20 years now. That is full on won't accept dye grey!
We won't discuss my wrinkles. :duc

A lot of people in my Family look younger than they are.

Sadly they still die at the normal age though

Yeah, interesting how our idea of old changes as you age

Oddly enough I'm scheduled to look at a house 2 doors down from the one I bid on. It suddenly dropped 30k. Still out of range and still needs some work but I have a feeling about it. It's worth a shot. I'm going to offer what I can and write a letter to the sellers. It's kids that have to sell the parents old 70's style home. If they accept great. If not then I'll keep looking. I'm not going back. It's my life moving forward. I'm making comprises where I don't want to.

I've been grey since high school and I'm not dying my hair. It's to much work to keep it dyed and to much work to grow it out.

It's funny how you hit age milestones then forget how old you are until you hit the next one. Or something slaps you. LOL I recently heard my gfs son talking on the phone with her. I thought it was her husband until he said something about doing homework. I loudly went "wait wait wait wait! That's David!?!" She started laughing and replied "It's my baby on the phone." I about died.
