Official Squatch Watchers

I never had a leghorn....maybe that isn't best word?

What I mean is, at first they were skittish and a little wild and would fly away (I clipped a wing so they wouldn't). The guy I got them from in Louisiana said they were "gamey"....I took that to mean their behavior, but he prolly meant their stance....I'm still a newbie at this chicken thing, it's only been a year, so my verbage might not be right, lol!

But like I said, when I worked with them they became more tame. Raven is almost a lap chicken now, she is that sweet. :)

Usually it is human avoid-ant works for breeds said to be flighty

Many of the pro's use Peat in their brooders instead of shavings. Heard lots of pros, few cons, but never tried it myself.

Just a reminder your goose will need 28 days, a lower humidity until lock down and slightly warmer incubator. I will incubate ducks and turkeys at 40% and 99.8* as they need a bigger air cell, so I'm assuming it's the same for geese. @WVduckchick will know.
Good to know. I bought 10 poults today and 30 turkey eggs:lau. Among other things! Good thing i bought another incubator!:gig
