I had a broody Ameraucana that was hatching them and then they would leave the next and she would just keep sitting there. Luckily i had a different hen adopt them. About 30 days into it i wanted to check the remaining eggs and i literally had to hold her behind the head to keep her from ripping my arm off.Whooo! Lulu is sitting in the box with those big ole eyes! I went to get eggs and she bit the FIRE out of me...she can keep em!![]()

Yep it’s funny how they can look at you with such loathing eyesWell I booted her off so the other girls could lay and not lose an eyeball. To say she wasn't happy would be a big understatement. Girl makes the most unmoveable pancake, like stiff jello. I do love making her move, she takes three or four super slow steps then trots away. She will go back, no doubt.![]()
