That's the problem we had w/ Steve... We all thought he was a girl until he was 19 weeks and started acting like a boy... I don't want to accidentally keep a boy and get rid of my girls. Loki's acting like she's done w/ the babies already. Last night she was trying to get up on the roost, but I locked her in w the babies last night. Tonight I need to block in the bottom of the coop from the back and dismantle the baby cage so they can be free w/ everyone else. I'm hoping she'll stick around w/ them and take them outside and teach them how to chicken w/ the big ones.
How long should I wait until I let them out to range w the others? They'll be a month old about the 9th.
I love it too... It's way more impressive when you can hear the shoes hit, but they dub the music over to cover the audience sounds and then you can't hear the shoes. The youngest ones here are 7 (3rd and 5th ones from the left) and the oldest are the 2 on the right who are now 15.
Do you mean the one circled in red? I was talking to her mom last night.. This is just her 2nd year doing competition and she won a national title for her solo! She has some major talent. The boy child is my friend's son. He's the only boy on the team and one of the only boys at the studio. He has some major skill too. Fun fact, he's partially deaf & wears hearing aids. You wouldn't know it by the way he dances.
