Official Squatch Watchers

Yep, my sav a chick smelled like it went south so I dilluted down some coconut water. Still getting the goodies but the water is just the most lovely pink color. I finished off the last of the undilluted coconut water, think I needed it as much as they will.:) UPDATE: My box of brats is at the distribution center, not long now!
High octane water? Sounds like just what i need!

Ugh, gods, that is gross and freaky looking!

If I saw one of those coming at me, I would run. I wouldn't wanna touch it, much less...yank on it. Eeew.

ETA: Turkeys are really creepy looking, IMO. They're not cute and smiley, like ducks or chickens. Quail kinda freak me out too, with their tiny little pinheads. I know, I'm a specieist creep!

Turkeys are so ugly sorry for you lovers but dang js
I bought my first on impulse. I figured they were so ugly that I would't mind putting the bbb in the freezer... wow was I wrong, they are so neat... broke my heart to put those bbb in freezer camp...:hit had to have someone else "do the deed" I could take over once they were dead... But I played with them... NO MORE PLAYING WITH MY FOOD.. so now I can't get close enough to pick them up :he

I might try that. My knee has been more sensitive lately because it doesn't like my new hobby of kneeling and squatting in the garden. Before that, it would bug me 3-4 times a year and only if there was really bad weather.

My shoes/boots make a difference as to my knee hurting.
The muck boots worn all day hurt my knee
Old shoes will too
So I switch shoes several times a day.. Start w/the muck and when the dew is gone switch to sneakers and then back to muck when I go in the muddy poultry yard

They're heeeeere! And everyone is alive and active! Tiny little farts though. I'll get good pics once they have filled up and settled down.:)

They're so cute! What did you get? (sorry if I missed it.)

Hey, I have a question for you guys, I was wondering this before. How many chickens do each of you have? I am at 16, total, now, 13 girls and three boys. I can't go any higher than that, so I won't add until some start dying off. But I love my mixed flock! I think they are the perfect blend of everything (OK, most everything, lol) that I want.

So:

How many chickens do you have? :)

I think my signature sums it up for me right now. I'm hoping to get down to 60 by winter.

Hahaha, you KNOW that is never gonna happen Rae! You keep racking em up! (I've been quietly stalking your sig You think nobody notices, but I do, lol) :lau
