I get nut butters that seperate.. I put the oil on the plank and sunflower seeds that stuck to the oil... and seeds floating in the bucket... in my basement
I need something for chipmunks out in the poultry yard though

Good idea!
I have to hit the grocery store today anyway.
Might as well give it a go.

I dislike autocorrect. :hmm

Right. Forgot about that. What about dry ice? The CO2 will suffocate them and it will stay low in the bucket.
umm that would work.. but it's an hour away to the place that has dry ice. The times I have gotten dry ice in a shipment, and stuck it in the freezer, it was gone by the next night.

I'm worried about my little Jelly Bean.
I can't find anything wrong but she is very pale compared to her sister.

Her crop has stuff in but was maybe a little doughy. I gave her some coconut oil to be safe. No one seems to pick on her but she's rather quiet and subdued. Am I being paranoid? Any ideas?

And new eggs!

New eggs.... both on the floor a few days apart but they are slightly different colors.

Does she look a little more puffed up than normal to you.

She is puffier than her sister.....just wondering if that's normal or new.

A little puffed up. She walks around, eats, acts normal just subdued. I keep using that word cause it seems to fit the best. She's not slow. Or shy. Sort of reserved.

She could be just a late bloomer, or she could have an internal issue that is only now catching up to her after all the cold weather. Either she'll catch up or she'll slowly fade. I've had a few that seemed fine as chicks but as they grew, they didn't grow as much as the others and around 6-8 months they just died out of the blue.

A normal freezer isn't cold enough to keep dry ice from sublimating (melting directly from a solid state to a gaseous state). But if you let it melt in a bucket, the bucket will hold the "melted" CO2 because it is heavier than air.
