Well I got semi results from the necropsy, good news is no tumors and what did show makes sense, she showed endocarditis lesions.
There was also staphlococcal arthritis present on the right side.
So I was correct.
Still a few blood tests to wait on but he said the issues were pretty clear. Sad, but yay for it not being contagious as a mofo.:yesss:

Losing one is horrible. Glad you are not facing any more losses.
No kidding! Losing these birds is just as awful as losing a cat or dog, they're family.:)

Hello everyone! We are stopped for dinner and are about half way to our friends’ house. We stopped on the way out, got deposit checks from the bank for the houses and did the initial closing. To our surprise, the lead time on our house is 2-3 weeks, WEEKS!!!!! My in-laws house is already built, so that isn’t a problem, we just put a deposit on it. We could be moved in VERY quickly. I’m VERY happy! The cockerels seem to be taking the ride well. Only the occasional growl or crow out of them. They did get a little over heated during the closing. When we went in, it was in the 30’s and the sun wasn’t out. When we came out, it was in the upper 40s and the sun was out. So we had to air them out quick, but they recovered nicely. It smells a bit like wood shavings and chicken crap, but it isn’t too noticeable once you’ve been exposed for a bit. Just when you are getting back in the car.
