Official Squatch Watchers

So I've only seen from the Kerrygold website that Heinens and Giant Eagle sell it. Heinens is hit or miss on prices for stuff and I can't go to Giant Eagle unless what I'm after is specifically on sale. And even then it's sometimes still more expensive then Walmart.
I was surprised Aldi had Kerrygold at all but have no idea on price. There was a guy buying it and I asked "is that a good price for that?" He shrugged and responded "I don't know my wife said buy it." LOL

I worked outside again for bit too. Put the other small pallet down to make the rest of the floor. Told myself to take measurements and more pictures but of course that didn't happen. I got a good laugh when I was on the floor looking under the other large pallet that I didn't pick up. Trying to use my phone flashlight and see how it looks. The alarm call goes off outside and I look up to see about 6 chicken heads looking through the door at me.

They didn't really need in but when they couldn't get in cause my head was in the way they all had to investigate.
Then this little stinker thought she'd be helpful.

By pecking me in the ear. LOL
So looking under the pallet I don't see mold like on the plywood.

What I did pull out from right under the edge looked the same as what was under the other pallet.

That looks like serious spider web to me.

I also got more of the run HW cloth up! Yea for warm weather!

Just a general safety tip. Get some comfortable safety glasses when you'll be crawling around on the floor with them. I think it was a couple years ago, but I was working on a fence and my favorite turkey hen, didn't like that I was ignoring her. She pecked me on top of the head and I instinctively looked up just in time for her to take a small chunk out of my eye. Injured eye bad, trying to explain how you got pecked in the eye by a turkey to the eye doctor makes it much worse. Especially when you can tell he's trying to choke back the laughter. :gig

She loves my earrings! I do have quite a few to chose from and luckily she can’t pull them out but a tad distracting.

I was using those cage clips to attach HW cloth to fence and of course dropped one inside the run. I’m on the outside and not quick enough. I can’t find it. I’m hoping no one ate the damn thing. They mostly seemed to enjoy pecking it to watch it fly. Probably covered in mud and that’s why I can’t locate it.

Gotta do what you gotta do to ease the funk.
Getting to be a funky time of year for me even without losing a chicken so this is my yearly pre-emptive funk strike.
Can't be sad when you've got peepy fuzz butts.....plus I just suuuuck at math.:p
Chicken math at its finest...! ;)
