Welp Beavis is back in the run, needless to say there was chicken drama bloody, gross, chicken drama the only kind really.
We don't get much but when we do whoa buddy is it something else.
Did the hair coloring deal last night, lost track of time ended up with the most lovely pink gray hairs lol.

Here's my stab at country engineering... Was having trouble finding a cover for my Gazebo and when I did find one it was almost as expensive as the whole thing... What do you think of our $10 solution?

I cannot even look at oreos....the temptation is just to great.

I don't like Oreos. Now Oatmeal cookies are another thing!

This is my solution to casement windows. Can’t put a window fan in correctly so on end held in by the vertical blind apparatus. Sometimes you gotta do whatever works.

Window in the coop!!! It was 90* in there and I’ve been wanting to put the windows in. Of course I was drenched in sweat in about 10 minutes. Then it started raining. I actually stood outside to cool off. LOL I even put a little roof over it to try and keep the rain out. Not bad for having a drill and hand saw. I’ll put the HW cloth up tomorrow. I’m too tired to mess with it today.

Yeah, the heat+ humidity is awful. The temp in Chatham yesterday was 100° without factoring humidity in!

You cut the opening with a hand saw?
You have more grit than I.

Looks like I need to break out some chicken wire.
Yup c h i c k e n wire.

I have found a bunny digging a den under my zucchini plant.

I filled it in and within 3 minutes she was back at it.

Just when it is setting fruit too.

X2 I've got way too many different types of saws for such a job, and they all use electric

I still need to do the HW cloth thing too, not looking forward to it.
I'm not even sure if I have washers, highly doubt I do they're useful so probably none here.

Oh trust me I would have used an electric saw.... I don't have one.

Well I have a circular saw...not exactly what was needed for a verticle work surface.

I used a branch/tree saw. So big teeth that takes lots of material with each bite. Still not fun.

They were loving eating the saw dust.

It is so much brighter in there! And cooler!

I like using 1x2 lumber better than the washers. I found it to be more secure and no expensive washers needed.
