Gurtrude will be spending the night at the vet. It's definitely not a surgery for most chicken keepers, as the minimum is $1000, and we could be paying as much as $1300. For us it's worth it, as she's DD#4s emotional support animal. Plus DD#4 is paying for almost all of it.

Bigger boxes are definitely going to be needed. I worry Bitty might get buried under her tiny little daughters.
No kidding she'll literally be sitting on them in a few weeks just a derp mountain.

I only worry that one of those giants will sit on tiny Bitty and crush her.
Smudge is only a tiny bit bigger than Bitty.

All my plants are planted and watered.

I cleared lettuce, bunching onions, dill and several weeds before getting things in. Now to learn how to dry dill. I have lots of it.

Here's my stab at country engineering... Was having trouble finding a cover for my Gazebo and when I did find one it was almost as expensive as the whole thing... What do you think of our $10 solution?
