We have crickets everywhere this year.

Good morning Cappy have a great Wednesday, crickets don't bother me.

I remember the locust when we lived in Florida. Noisy at night! None here in Utah. (Kind of glad.).

I rather like crickets, I am sure the chickens are happy about it! Used to raise them for my lizards. I can even sex crickets!

Crickets are way different than cicadas, like I said crickets and even grasshoppers I can deal with. I afraid to ask, but how would you sex a cricket?

Tomorrow I will refill the duck pool. I am 1000% sure they won't wait for it to finish filling before they hop in.

They are quite messy with the water. While easier than chickens in some ways.....that water mess can be a real chore.

They are fun and silly though.

It is the only way I could keep a male bird since drakes are quieter than the hens.
