Official Squatch Watchers

Omg, seems like everyone is either sick or trying to get over some bug. Hubby is sick too. Get well soon!
Don't curse me! I started a little cough yesterday and still want to think it is from allergies....

Good morning! The baby keets are chirping! They want out of the incubator. The rest are doing fine, thanks. Need to shower and get goingto derm appt.
I hope the Appointment goes well!

Good morning/afternoon. Hiya Sassy Mouth! :hugs

Pollen here is killing me and the PIC.... my eyes stay itchy, swollen and red. Looks like I've been smokin dope all day! :lau

We got12 salmon faverolle eggs off ebay and had to toss every single one. I can't tell if they were fertile or not, because they were *resting* in an egg container on top of the incubator, and one of out lovely cats knocked the wntire thing off the counter. 2 eggs cracked, and the ST (Super Tater, DHs NEW nickname) just put the eggs back into the carton all willy nilly, not seeing whether there were right side up or not, and put the carton into the incubator and didn't tell me!!!! grrrrrrrrrrr

It wasn't until a day later that I saw what he did. We still tried to *set* the eggs... but at day 4 every single damn one of them were completely clear. FFS

We've noted that most of our eggs are now fertile, so we're going to do a test batch of our own girls' eggs and see what develops. I think this will be fun. I know our red sex links are fertile, and wanna test them.... and our white leghorns as well, but not sure I want to hatch out them.... although they ALL will be cross breeds from Fat Bastard and Holy....

I'm gonna get ST to help me take pics of the little batams and Seven AND our roos this weekend. 2 of the bantams have SUCH hairy feet and legs, it's hilarious... until I realize I'm gonna be washing their feet anytime they get muddy.... ugh

HAND everyone! Miss you!

OMG! :smack

Well, Sara has given up the motherly reins, and deserted the babies last night. She went to roost, they were huddled in the corner of the run. I've been helping them inside every evening, then she usually follows, but no-go last night. It was already cold, we got just below freezing last night, so I brought her babies inside. Almost 5 weeks old, but sill so tiny... I just couldn't leave them outside.
