Official Squatch Watchers

@TexasSam Sorry dude I'm late to the party! I really don't have experience with these. I know they're just chinks of hardened debris and crap that lodge in the tonsil crypts. I think you can pop them out with those long wooden medical Qtip swabs. Gargle with salt water, and if that doesn't work go to your doc or an ENT, they have a special tool to get them out I think.

Gotta jump in the shower and get ready for work (damn it feels good saying that! :D). TTYL guys, have a great day, love yas!
:frow:frowBye!!! Have a super day!!!

Hubby saw either a mink or a weasel today , and several beavers. The weasel has me worried, since my runs are chain link. So i started closing pop doors at night again.
Good!
Seriously. If you have a door, why wouldn’t you use it?
Security = ME NOT CRYING!

Tis 10:25 pm, and where am I? Sitting in the car listening to the tree frogs laughing at DD's #3&4 while they try to catch a couple companions for the tree frog DD#3 caught last year. :lau:gig:he:th:oops:
Warms my heart.
We were a tree frog family back when my kids were younger.
I don’t even care that we spent a fortune feeding them.
Great memories.
Thanks for the reminder.

mink can get through chain link too.. need 1/2" hardware cloth, but who can do the whole run if it is any size.

One of my sons gets them occasionally. I know he has dislodged a few with a q-tip.

Doctor says some people are more prone to them for some reason but stressed oral hygiene.
Brush teeth and tongue after meals.
If that isn’t possible, Drink water at the table or rinse mouth out in the bathroom after eating to remove food particles from the mouth and throat.

Warm salt water swishes and gargles may help to decrease inflammation and dislodge a stone.
Also diluted peroxide used the same way may help.

Sometimes the stone gets so bad (because it’s literally made of bacteria) it causes tonsillitis or worst case scenario: a tonsillar abcess -which is no joke- so if you feel crappy or start to to run a fever get medical attention ASAP.
I have a small fever but it’s slight. I got some out last night and I’m going to get a waterpik this evening and try some more

The runs are closed at night. I was leaving pop doors open to the runs so they can get out into the runs early. But security is more important. Have not seen any small varmints until yesterday, or even tracks. I think the dog scares them off.
