One more question. Do I quarentine Tina? She's been around no other poultry. She will get the routine checks of course bugs, feet, head and butt. But do I give her 30 days like a chicken? I can do it but she'll have to room with the cat. Tina knows cats and cat knows chickens, she snuggled Hobo for two weeks no issues.

I would keep her separate for a while, you never know.

Technically, the answer should be yes. It's less likely that she will bring anything to the chickens, but far more likely the chickens can give her something. Read up on MS/MG and blackhead. Neither issue is generally fatal, but you'll want to know what the signs are and be able to treat should an issue present itself.

Most people assume all chickens carry MG and are pretty much immune to it. I had an MG outbreak when I first introduced my turkeys to the chickens. I treated them and it hasn't been back since. I've not had any issues with blackhead, think of it as chicken pox for poultry. They will pickup the virus from the soil, if it's present in your soil. No way to know until she's with you.

Cappy gave you the correct answer, but you know me, I like to color outside the lines.

I assume these things would be problematic in a very large native turkey population if they were present? Iv'e got a butt ton of wild turkeys that are healthy enough for the olympics. I can get close enough to look them in the eye "which I should never do again to the gobbler, he took offence." :)
