Wow even my alerts for the thread are gone. They really didn’t like her attitude.

For @Dona Worry, we use “tater” in place of expletives.
So “you can all go tater yourselves!” Or “you dried up old taters.”

(Which I think I may use in real life now. I have used tater instead of swear words while actually talking.)

its been a while since we’ve been there but Dollywood is fun even for people who aren’t “ride people” plus the shows are great and the food is too.

Also the knoxville zoo is fun. That’s about 30-40 minutes from pigeon forge I think.

Ooo I'll check that out. I saw something about the Chattanooga zoo having penguins, but it's farther away that I want to go.

I have a weird thing happening. At this same time last year my D'ucclle starting sneezing and sounded very congested. I immediately brought her in the house, treated her with Vet RX under each wing and on her head and throat. Fed her some canned mackeral and kept her inside and away from the other chickens for 6 days. She did fine, ate and drank well, so I put her back out with her friends. Nobody else ever got sick and she continued sneezing ever since. When we have them out in the yard, DH and I always snicker cuz we always know where she is cuz we can hear her sneeze. Anywho.........she starting sounding gurgly and congested again....exactly like last year and same time of year. So I brought her in again and did the same things I did last time. That was 2 days ago. Her comb is still bright red, no fluid in nose or eyes and she is eating and drinking fine and seems fine otherwise. I don't get it??? Nobody else is sick......could she have allergies? Wth??

That happened to me. I haven't done anything about it, but last fall several of my birds were sneezing. Nothing seemed to help. Then this fall Olive has been sneezing again. I haven't done anything. It seems intermittent & she doesn't appear to have any other problems.

Nah, she reads like a middle aged white lady that asks for the manager when you tell her her coupon is for a different store.
I'm right smack in the middle of the millennial generation, and don't know a single person my age that would be such a brat over this, except maybe that weird girl that would try and steal lunches.

My opinion of the 'thins' is that they're trying to appeal to the people who are touting the healthy lifestyles. They're going for the everything in moderation angle, so if they have 'thin' reeses they'll be less calories, like oreo thins. The stupid part about this is they have mini reeses already. to have thinner reg size reeses is stupid and pointless.

I fit in to both. I was born in 81 so I'm an elder millennial (hilarious show if anyone has netflix!) Though I generally don't identify w/ a millennial, except the whole crippling debt and obsessive reliance on technology.

I have been saying potato for a while.. Don't be a potato. My younger child started it, I think. Gives a new meaning to Mr Potato-head.

This made my day. One of my go to insults on twitter is 'Are your parents brother and sister, or first cousins?' I find it hard to believe that there isn't a bit of inbreeding going on w/ some of these people. Maybe high lead levels in their drinking water as a child.

GM, RJ. I am generally not up at this hour, but i was having a nightmare about loose exotic and sometimes poisonous creatures in an airport. I was bitten several times, and someone gave me a shot. I carried on catching creatures, afraid i was going to miss my plane.
I woke up clutching the covers like i hold snakes, right behind the head!
And when i went in the bathroom to check the chicks...the water was full of chick feed!!! And they couldn't drink it!!! I fixed that and gave them all a drink. Phew! Thanks for the warning Mother Nature!

What were you drinking last night before bed?
My chicks always did the same thing. I always wondered if they were trying to make their own mash. Is there any way you can separate their dishes more?

Got some catching up to do, y'all are prolific.

I didn't get one trick or treater this year! Same last year! I wonder if that's becoming a thing of the past, or if it's just cuz I live in a rural-ish area.

Most people go to places where the homes are close together and there are side walks. When we were kids we used to get a bunch of kids. Someone would pull a wagon around the 'circle' where we lived and tons of people passed out candy.. but now everyone just goes into town.

My girls went trick or treating last night.
The younger one was a vampire victim w/ pale make up, neck bites and fake blood.
But I want to show you my older kid's make up b/c it turned out pretty great. Unfortunately I didn't get any close up photos.

She's Tate Langdon from American Horror Story. That took me 1 1/2 hrs to do. I didn't get the neck done b/c I didn't have enough time.
Both my kids were asked if they were adults. Granted, they're both giants.. but what does it matter? They were both dressed up and were polite (I've been beating into their heads to say Trick or Treat and Thank you for many years).
This was likely the last year either of them is going to go trick or treating though.

Hey everyone,

I've been gone for over a week. I've come to the conclusion that my morning sickness (just extreme stomach cramps not puking) is just worse this time around. I thought it was a combo of being sick/pregnant, but it isn't going away. Ugh, thank goodness for sparkling water and homeopathy. They both help take the edge off and let me work.

Oh and we are getting two wee piggies on Saturday/Sunday. I still need to put the hog panel fence together and build a hut we can use to close them in at night to keep them safe from the coyotes.
