Official Squatch Watchers

Gah, this makes me nervous! This is my chicken cat, never bothers anybody just eats chicken food. Guess her name is outta here taterhead! :rolleyes:View attachment 1591763 View attachment 1591764

What part makes you nervous? Tne watching?

My murderous tom cat would watch the chickens......never ever that I saw even tried for a bantam.
Those hens can be rather brutal to cats. He stayed clear of the hens.
Mine got trounced a couple times by the bantam rooster.

Pot luck my butt, 20+ people would be having a Waffle House Thanksgiving if it was my call.:caf
Ran into an old friend at the store. Poor gal was buying everything for a feast for 20+.
She asked when she could finally be done with it all. My advice for her was to make it pot luck style.
Coordinated of course so there aren't 20 pumpkin pies!

She's rather fussy so likely will keep doing the big dinner herself.

I have cooked Thanks giving for 35 before. It is a lot of work!

I did farm out some of the sides

Nervous simply because she's a cat. If mine has taught me anything at all it is that they aren't to be trusted with anything.:gig

Yeah Mom always asked for people to bring things. A single 2 lt of your favorite diet pop for a party of 15 doesn't count. My one aunt would bake. Except I'm pretty sure she was ashing her cigarettes in the cookie dough before baking. No one would eat them.
Defeated the purpose of bringing something. It was a major expense too. Supplying meat for all those people alone.

That is a definite risk to pot lucking it.

This right here is why cats make me nervous, this was this morning and was taken just so I could fuss at Hubs.

See all that grass? That isn't grass, it is hay twits. I emptied a little bag of hay in the nest boxes and threw away the bag. See that blue pile of fabric? Those are Hubs dirty work pants just tossed in the floor, a no no if there ever was one. See the cat? She rolled around on hub's pants, apparently got high, drug the hay bag out of the garbage, ate hay and fought with the bag in at least two rooms and the hallway and then passed out on the funky pants again...oh yeah, totally trust cats.:lau
