Oh no! I should check my paypal. I rarely use it.

What happened was, I got an email from Amazon thanking me for changing my email (which I didn't do). They had some bogus email it was changed to. I couldn't even get into my account and when I called them they couldn't give me any information becuase it was truly changed.

Supposedly my pending order was canceled. So I set up another Amazon account and reordered it. Now today I am supposed to be able to get into my old account, but I still can't, and apparently my old order has shipped even though it was supposed to be canceled!

It's a huge PITA because I had to cancel all my automatic payments for all my bills and cancel all my credit cards. I still have to go to the bank today and get a new debit card.

Two things I learned--take heed!--

When you have Amazon, sign up for the Two-Step Verification, so this doesn't happen to you. It provides an extra layer of security by texting you a security code you have to enter every time you access your account.

Second, unlink any credit/debit cards from your accounts. I had all mine linked so it was easier to make payments (I do a taterload of online shopping!) ; however, it makes it easier to steal your info.

Hopefully this helps you guys not get hacked like I was.....

I don't think I could deal with a puppy. I love my Zoe girl. She's a totally crazy Australian Cattle Dog. At 7 she shows no sign of slowing down. I always thought when my old chihuahua died I would get a second ACD to keep her company. He's still going strong thank goodness.

Yes-- he's in bed with his head under his blanky.

Aw, so cute....:love

Dogs are the best. I love em. Hounds too. I've had three beagle mixes and I loved em all Not every breed is good for every person, but they all have their good points.

A lot has to do with the owners and how they treat/house them....annoying dogs often come from stupid owners who shouldn't have dogs. Just sayin'.

Good evening everyone!

I had a REALLY busy day today. My SIL and I left at 8am this morning to drive 2.5-3 hours up to Pittsburgh PA to the nearest Costco. We also hit up IKEA and Trader Joes while we were there. Thankfully, this week I really found the key to managing my morning sickness. I need to eat at least every 2-3 hours during the day to keep from feeling horribly sick. We managed to keep the trip under $1000 and only spent $40 at IKEA. Going to IKEA was mainly a fact-finding tour to get ideas. My SIL just put a contract down on a house and she'll be moving in January. It is a really nice house set up as a duplex. It has a fairly large storage area in the half basement, and she is thinking of converting that into a tiny house/studio apartment for herself and renting out the other 2 units for 3 times what her mortgage payments will be. I was looking for ideas for things we'll need to get once we get our new house, new bed for the Milk Drinker, desks, etc. It was a fun day, but I'm pooped.

We aren't going to church tomorrow because the Milk Drinker has been sick and has a runny nose and periodically runs a low grade fever. That will be good for me because Monday will be a busy day for me (first Midwife appointment). At least this way, I'll have tomorrow to relax.

For Thanksgiving, DH, the Milk Drinker, my SIL and I will be going up to PA again to go to my MIL's extended family annual Thanksgiving reunion. For years, they have been renting a house near one of my DH's Great Aunt/Uncle's house (since they sold their house and moved into a retirement community). Sadly, it sounds like this will be the last hurrah for the family reunion. The rental house that they have gotten every year is going out of business, and since members of my DH's grandmother's generation are getting up in their 80s-90s, it is getting harder for them to make it out for the festivities, especially since they are spread out from SE PA all the way up to Rochester, NY. This is sad, my first introduction to my DH's extended family was at one of these reunions. We had only been dating 5 months and we weren't even engaged yet. My DH thought it was very daring of me to agree to come. My MIL only really wanted to come for the second half of the trip (Saturday/Sunday) to visit her mother. Since we moved to the farm, she's become a bit reclusive and doesn't want to deal with the politics that are talked about during the festivities.
Sorry your boy is sick :hugs
