Government regs for nursing homes...FDA and all that.

I cannot donate eggs to the food pantries for that same reason but I can donate veggies fertilized with chicken poop.

It makes no sense.

Collecting eggs is a great way to be exposed to the germs that are "pasteurized" away. I do not think that is what I would call washing eggs. No way store eggs are heated to over 140 degrees & pasteurized!

Ok, about two weeks ago I asked hubs to get me a new garden hose no big deal right?
I still don't have it so I asked why not.
He informs me he's pondering just running a water line to the coop...lol uh....no.
I can handle a hose and his handyman skills are NOT what they once were plus just....no.
He always wants to complicate crap!



If you don't plan on feeding them to anybody but still don't want to poison up your house hairspray will kill them quickly too.
The only thing I poison are hornets, no playing with those.

Interesting. I'll have to remember that. I had a queen yellow jacket in my apt once (IDK how it go there) and I was couldn't use a fly swatter b/c it was attracted to tube light above my sink so I used but spray and that was as fun as you'd expect. That trick would have saved me a lot of cleaning.

I do not know if it applies to dog toenails or not, but once I slammed my thumb in a van sliding door. Lost the nail, and when it re-grew it has a groove that is weak and always splits the nail up into the quick. Once injured, it has been compromised for the rest of my life!

I have one of those “as seen on tv” expanding hoses. I love it. You have to be a little careful with them. Dragging them along cement repeatedly isn’t a good idea but mine has held up.

Mine looks like this but has the brass ends. My only complaint about mine is I can’t take the end off.
Although maybe with some of my new tools that will be possible.

I had a pocket hose! It lived forever, honestly it was mom's.
She bought it when they first hit on infomercials and it just died last year!
That is what I was thinking though, join a couple those suckers together and i'm good.
I don't need a water line, or a big honking reel of rubber hose.
Just pocket hoses and a nozzle.

I have one of those “as seen on tv” expanding hoses. I love it. You have to be a little careful with them. Dragging them along cement repeatedly isn’t a good idea but mine has held up.

My need for the hose is singular.
I need it for the coop floor, that wood gets funky!
Right now iv'e got a bucket and a dedicated poop mop.
I'm not having an ounce of fun not having a hose.

I'm impressed you've kept them alive. I've killed dozens of them, but I still like them.

I know his intentions are good.
I also know he gets frustrated waaay too easy which frustrates me and makes him cut corners just to be done with it.
So see i'm being good and just asking for a hose.
I even just put a halt to the water line gracefully and even sweetly if I do say so myself thanks to Nunny.
I shot him a text saying pocket hose had a 100 footer now and how awesome that is, he knows I really like those so he's happy.
