I think the little bottles are danish. If they are not lined with sugar on the inside they are the best in the world.Ok Bob, these are the chocolate selections.
He brought home 6 of each and I looked the big solid bars are Dutch chocolate.
You are right they are delicious.
Funny thing on the boozy ones, the only english is how to eat them properly even though there are familiar liquors inside.
Oh and I looked at the calories, the booze eggs are 434 a piece....whoa, suddenly only eating three seems pretty bad.
@apryl29 Don't be jealous of a suitcase full of fat and tipsy when I would happily share with you....no fun doing either alone anyway.View attachment 2042802View attachment 2042803View attachment 2042806View attachment 2042807View attachment 2042808

Gotta tell you a story about those.... Mom was a letter carrier and one day delivered a big box of those to one of the ladies on her route. The lady gave her like a dozen for her Christmas present. Mom, who hadn't had breakfast almost immediately popped 1,2,3 into her mouth. BTW, she's a tea totaler.... Lady went into a frenzy, "no more!" "no more!" "What's your phone number?" I get a call, your mom is going to need help today... So I drove out there and sure enough, she's three sheets in the wind. I finished her route for her while she slept in my car. Thankfully, when she woke up she was fairly coherent and could drive. So I took her back to her jeep and followed her to the PO. When she finished and clocked out I took her home and told her I'd take her to work the next morning.Yep, you are correct for some reason Denmark and Danish didn't correlate in my noggin.
No sugar inside, just boozy goodness.
Don't eat too many at once?
Have we met?

Those are some powerful chocolates, but they are truly the best in the world. When I came home for Christmas one year I brought Mom a box. She made them last the whole year. Guess lesson learned![]()
I do too.I used to get Dad the little chocolate bottles with booze in them. He loved them.
Well I knew she didn't have long. Cinders has passed.
I was out sitting with her.
I had a call in to the vet but not needed now.
I ran them with layers and thought they were the sweetest... not what I expected... thought it would be easy to harvest... broke my heartI've done it both ways. I think they learn to forage better when there's heritage birds with them to teach. Can't prove it, just an observation that I didn't document.
DH would rather just eat chocolates.I do too.![]()
