Official Squatch Watchers

Not a SINGLE egg I set last week from Hop-a-long’s breeding group was fertile. Most of what I set from Fat Daddy’s group was. Eggs were set in the good incubator, so that isn’t the issue. I wonder if Hop-a-long (I think I’m going to shorten that to Hal) hurt himself trying to do his duty. FD is very reliable, so I don’t have to worry about his eggs. I might have to hatch from Hal all year to get the pullets I need.

My chickies are 5 weeks old! 🥳 They may or may not have been given their first treats in honor of the occasion.🤫
Lol, I give mine mashed eggs at any age. They love it! They get brave, come right up and eat it out of my hand.

I gave eggs to a couple of the littles that were struggling the first week. But since then I have been mean and kept all the eggies for myself, lol. With no hens of my own I have been relying on a neighbor for eggs. They are a precious resource these days!

We don't eat many eggs, hubby sometimes uses them in cooking. And the hens are mostly laying.

DD#3 getting a chance to get out and practice having a tandem service dog team. Trixie and Peach got their package Friday and are enjoying their new work gear, the best and the harness and cape set. It was raining so they've got boots and rain coats.

I left them so they could work without me being a distraction and headed off to do my own thing. Kinda felt like dropping the kid off for the first day of kindergarten, but without looking in the window.

That is awesome! I am glad they are still able to "public" train.

I watched a few videos about dogs trained for people that have seizures. It was amazing!

I am up....I think.

It drizzled off and on all day yesterday then finally actually rained for a bit.
I still don't think we got much at all. The ground under the water dishes is still dry as an old bone.
If it helped loosen the ground it will make pulling weeds out of the flowerbed easier.
