Official Squatch Watchers

Good morning! Coon problems here too, the last two afternoons before dark iv'e had one come out to eat, luckily it runs off but I don't like it one little bit.
I don't want to shoot it mainly because my pistol is crazy loud and it has wooden grips so it spanks my hands really bad and a 357 is overkill for such a thing.
I really need a 22 revolver, small and simple.
I think we have a 22 rifle but last time hubs showed me he told me so much unnecessary crap I doubt i'd remember how to shoot the damn thing if I could even find where he put it.
I know I have a shotgun, but it is pistol grip and it is worse than the 357 and i'd rather not shoot anything with it due to the awful factor.
Anyways, another cool rainy morning still have two crazy broody butts and the roosters want to "fight" first thing for whatever reason.
Is is still a fight if I can carry both fighters under my arms until they stop being stupid? :)

I learned to shoot a .22 rifle as a kid, ~6th grade. Not loud, no recoil that was a problem for a skinny 11 year-old girl. That rifle sounds like just the thing with the ammo Bob was recommending a while back. I used to be able to hit the circle on the Pepsi can with that, now I will not be making any long distance shots, just something close and in the trap! Maybe find it and get simple pull-trigger instruction with hand-on time. Like driving somewhere, it helps to remember the way if you are the driver, the passenger does not know the route!

The 22 works well for trapped coons. Spend some quality time with the hubby target practicing

Lol, this one wont be trapped since it is coming out in the day id just end up trapping a chicken.
My aim is good, dad taught me years ago and only trusted me once I could out do him.:)

Target practicing gets you familiar with that particular gun.
Mine all shoot a little different

Exactly why i'd like to get a dedicated revolver just for critter control and get accustomed to it.
The rifle worries me,last time hubs used it he took forever and im not sure if the gun is that hard to sight or he's just that slow.
Asking would bruise man feelings. :D

A judge is a nice all purpose revolver. Not only does it take .45 long rounds but it takes 410 shotgun shells.
