I have been having first meal about 11 am, 6 hrs after waking, until Tuesday when I woke up dizzy. I have been eating last food before 7 pm.
Trying intermittent fasting to get rid of winter weight... and no gym. I did get back down to 154, but not lifting weights I am sure it's turning into fat.... I am 5 ft 2

ETA no wheat for me..or cow dairy

I forgot about the wheat. Maybe a piece of fruit.....apples are fairly low carb on the index bananas are the devil to me at a medium having about 30 grams.
I know it is summer but if you can eat oats maybe that will give enough slow carbs to keep you from hitting a dizzy low.

I used to have veggies with the eggs. Or can dry beans... sounds werid but I like it. .. fruit is in short supply in the house. Normally I would harvest 6 gallons of BLK raspberries... they got rust and are sol. Have to make a run to the store

I like to have cottage cheese in the morning. It seems to be just enough milk sugar and protein for me. Low blood sugar since I was a kid. Sometimes bananas disagree with me in the morning, I put canned tomatoes on my cottage cheese. Oatmeal is great but I only want it in the winter.
 
13 Lucky birds just moved to Chino Valley. Another member and I are splitting the flock between us. She says she can't seem to get chicks to live. So, I will get hatching eggs, and raise chicks. She will keep the roosters! And get back some chicks. I think I get the best end of this deal. She thinks she gets the best deal. Both of us are winners! ;) We will see how she feels when they are starting to crow . . .

I used to like cottage cheese with catsup lol. . goat yogurt now, with some fruit (when I have it) for last meal.
Last time I had oatmeal I think it was contaminated with wheat because it bothered me. I know they sell gulutin free oats, I will have to get
 
Interesting development with the (completely useless) primary physicians office....

Soooo to try and be brief....
Hubs has high blood pressure. During the covid shutdown he needed a refill. The doctor wanted to do a telephone visit before refilling his meds.....yes there is a fee for those. Because the "visit" would have been 100% useless hubs said no visit and that he would schedule to come in once things settled down.
Well today was the go in day. The doctor was a complete jerk! He wanted to draw labs....hubs just had labs done for the diabetes doctor. The PCP told him "Well have HER do the refill then!". I guess that doctor just fired himself.

Just as well anyway. That is the same office that failed to tell hubs he was a severe diabetic 5+ years of bloodwork having shown it. Not really any point in having them draw blood if the results show a serious problem and they never address it.

Fun fact....due to covid there are zero primary doctors in our area taking new patients.

The goal now is DON'T GET SICK OR INJURED cause there is no doctor. :th
So I guess he needs to go to the ER to get BP meds. Terrible!

This is just crazy.... I think a bad Dr is stressed out and is now worse.... doesn't do you and yours any good

This is why I try to figure out what is going on before I go to a Dr... or vet...

Red Mill is good, they have Oats that are free from being processed with the wheat machinery, I believe.

This is why I try to figure out what is going on before I go to a Dr... or vet...
And then just skip going! 90% of what ails us is diet & exercise. I got an extension of my Asthma inhaler just from the pharmacy, no Dr. involved.

He will call the endocrinologist and see if she will call a script in. She likely will because she actually gives a tater whether we live or die. She is NOT of the mindset "keep them just healthy enough to not die but sick enough to keep coming in".
