We are home. River is placed on her bed and sleeping. Many many meds to give over the coming weeks.

The rock was a bit bigger than the one Tilly ate.

Just do me a favor, avoid Blue Buffalo. We lost one dog and a cat to that brand. Dog ended up with pancreatitis and cirrhosis of the liver, and the cat ended up with an intestinal tumor. Both were put down as a result. We feed Nutro, and have done very well with it.

It is 2:30 now. River is doing as well as I can expect. She has been out to potty twice so far. She is still relatively out of it but I expect that.

While there are those who swear blue buffalo, taste of the wild and diamond naturals are the be all and end all of pet foods I am not one of those.
Nutro gives 4 out of our 5 the worst case of the runs.

We are switching to the Petsmart Authority brand of feed. Is it any better.....I really don't know.

Thank you Sue. So far she is sleeping a ton. We will see how things go once I put that cone on her. Big dog+cone=not gonna be easy to get around.

I can remember Todd and his cone he was bumping into everything. He was not happy, but made it and was so happy when it came off.
Sleep is best and lots of it. Potty and eating are the only things needed. I took Todd out on a lease so he wouldn't do something to open his wound again. We never did figure out what he did. Our best guess is a stick or something similar.
