Petting farm went great! The guy who runs it is a sweetheart. It's a rescue, and all the animals they have were abused/abandoned. He would buy them with his own money if he had to, to get them away from bad owners.

This man is truly a marvel with animals! He was telling us about some of those he took in, that absolutely refused any human contact, and they are now so gentle and friendly! He even taught a duck some tricks!

Oh, and one of the first things I said when I saw those ducks was: MUSCOVY! LOL

My daughter and I helped him with breed info (he's 72 and a real sweetheart, but not very internet savvy) and I gave him my phone number in case he needs more info, or even help. We really hit it off.
 
My blue palm poults arrived :wee They even ended up arriving overnight, which was awesome. Got them all settled. Someone had gone in with me so I only ordered six, and they ordered crosses. Just handed those ones off to their new home.

Now to get some pictures of mine. I think I may also have one that was sent as an extra (16 poults were sent, and 15 were ordered) that is what the packing slip calls "Slate Tuxedo" though I can't find those on the site anywhere. Had the same markings as the Palm poults, but the packing slip did say that that marking was also used for a couple other varieties.

Two of the crosses were marked double red, which the packing slip said was "Black Tuxedo" and I can't find those on the site either. Alas, those two are off to their new home so no pictures of those. I did ask if she'd send me pictures of those as they grow because I'm curious.
