Yes . The most ever. I’ve counted 13, 14, even up to 17 some days. All flying around in big circles overhead. Whenever one swoops a little low, the geese start screaming. I live in a forested area. It’s actually a state park area. My birds have a 3000 square-foot pen with a 6 foot fence and somewhere around 50 different obstacles to hide under such as bushes, tables, chairs, playhouses, etc..
... old pallets on cinderblocks…

But circling birds sounds more like (turkey) vultures. Here the hawks sit motionless in the surrounding trees and wait until everybody has forgotten that they are there and the suddenly swoop down. Fortunately they have learned that these ducks are too large for them and they go for the squirrels, wabbits and (unfortunately) duxlings...

Hawks or Vultures?
My flock looks like that when they're counting the Turkey Vultures circling in the sky.
When they see a hawk, the predator alarm goes of and everybody runs to the humon's house…
Maybe they are , I know we have them too. We have eagles, (some pretty huge) peregrine Hawks (small ), red tail hawks (aka chicken hawks) Cooper’s hawks (small ones) and turkey vultures , that I have seen I think there’s another kind or more out there, but I haven’t exactly identified them yet

The "Woodies" don't fly away?
And they keep to themselves and don't mix with the other dux?
Their wings are clipped. However they can still get off the ground they *could* clear the fence if they wanted to. They could easily climb the fence as well. Or go up the tree.
Being raised right next to and then housed with the calls... they do like to be near them. They just generally stay in their group and don't necessarily swim/play with the others. They even bully the cayugas out of the pools sometimes. 🤣

I am by far no expert for BoPs, but here these large circling birds are Turkey Vultures. I don't know what kind of hawk is currently lurking around, maybe a red-shoulder or a red-tail hawk. Today the crow friends attacked an s[he] fell out of the tree where s[he] was lurking. Feed the local murder of crows and get rid of the hawks, buzzards and (maybe?) the eagles. Just don't trust the crows when you've duxlings...
