My Calls' job is looking cute And showing. And breeding. I just bought a really nice pair of Butterscotch. The price might make some of you faint, haha.

Can we see them? Price can't be that bad, I've seen a pair of geese sell for over $1000. Cuteness doesn't fly here apparently. I'd have all sorts of cutie fluffs if I could.

I don't know. I am trying for grey ducks and the drake that got eaten was my foundation drake. I had to incubate his sister's eggs if I wanted to save his genetics, which I did.

You're right Trim...I was thinking they would be pretty heavy ducks, but they may not be after all. Hmmm...the excitement

One generations fine. Alot of small flocks are like that. But if you were to then breed those babies together.... that may be where theres issues.

I totally get it. I might not be able to pay what you did, but I get it. I've got a couple of birds my wife almost screamed at me over when I told her the prices. "I can get 15 whole chickens at Publix for that! And their already cooked!" My wife doesn't get it, but I get it.

The way I see it, they're gonna make some pretty babies. And those babies are gonna be worth about the same as their parents - so in the end, I'll likely get my money back selling my culls.

Them and my ko shamos are my most pricey birds, aside from the emus. I would have to have expensive tastes

I don't remember was in 2017. Although the current record holder is toulose geese sitting at $4250 as of last year.

Trust me...I paid $75 for a goose that the lady should have paid me to take Love him though and would have paid even more.

If I had the room...and the funds...I would love a pair of swans! I refer to Chance and BB as my redneck swans

My take is, if you have the money, and you aren't going to struggle without the money, go for it. You gotta be happy
