So... I didn't mean to send that yet. Left my phone open in my pocket. To answer you though, I'd have one right now if I could. It was such a neat experience. The first set we meet was their 3 year old breeders.Soooo when will you be getting your own?

Get it girl! Grats on the new equipment, and hopefully your hatch goes great.Morning everyone. Sorry I've been gone a bit. I ordered an incubator a few days ago, I've been collecting some of my chickens eggs so hopefully I can get a few successful hatches, considering I've never done it before... I will set 48 eggs, hoping to hatch at least 30Hope everyone has a good day!

The lady walked up right to the male, placed a hand on his back and asked him to lay down. Instantly he went straight to the ground and just let us handle him. He was so nice, and loved his throat/neck to be rubbed. It went from slightly intimidating to being like a kids at a petting zoo.
Then, I went in the 3 month old pin. That was even cooler. The youngsters where super curious, and I had sandals on... Biting my big toe was really cute, made me laugh. My little toe though... I'm pretty sure I sounded like a scared school girl. Those "little" things sure do have strong jaws.
One thing I do know, is I whil have Emu some day. It was a much better experience than I expected. They did say Emu need to constantly be socialized, but that happens to be how all the birds here are treated. I think it would be really neat to have a pair to hang out with.
Of course I only got pics from the youngsters pin. I just got to excited when we went to the breeder pin and forgot lol.

The guy in the red is the husband/owner of the farm. Look at the smile he has. We where both like little kids in there. I love seeing people who love their animals.

Based on my own experience of not plugging in the batteries for our driil. No, I don't think you'll learn lol. I do it pretty much everytime too.Every time, I swear. You would think I would learn.
I love the pictures! That first picture though, is my favorite. I now think all witches should be portrayed as Emu in pointy hats instead. They really are great birds! Desi, my male that I had but who passed away, was never super interested in being interacted with, but Ciara, my female is awesome and always wants to be in my business. Also, she's extremely tame and tolerant. Here, she is demonstrating this:

Don't I know it. Ciara, when she was about a day old, was sitting on my chest snuggling when she suddenly reached right up and grabbed ahold of my nasal septum. Ow it hurt. My eyes were watering for several minutes after, lol.
