Do you know of hand if the color on the rooster is normal?
I did see a bunch of corn in the feed. Looked like a pellet/corn mix. The pins where also pretty exposed too. There was a coop in each pin, but the pin top had full sun exposure. Hopefully its not a color they are working on. They st least didn't mention anything about itDefinitely not normal for a white. I can't tell if he's like this because it's some new color they were working on, or if they feed him too much corn so it's causing the color, or if it's exposure to sunlight.
Yes I can.Can you get a photo of him in profile? That'll be the only way to really judge. Silkies are also VERY competitive and have a hard SOP.
I didn't notice his feet. Holy crap that looks painful. Do the leg mites transfer easily on clothing? Should I be anymore concerned about getting them than normal?
She is a sassy one. She's pretty much shares 2nd in command with Umbra (Cemani roo). She's a great hen, and lays very well, but she doesn't take flak from anyone. I can get her to fly up and perch on my arm with like 5 grains of scratch. It's cool if your expecting, a tad scary when it's by surprise. She's a good sized girl.Mrs Blue looks like she's got sass!
Yeah, it was just eggs. You only got eggs, right?
