@Kiwibird I bought some yellow Kiwis at the grocery. They taste totally different from the green ones and are less hairy are they crossed with something?

You ate some yellow kiwifruit. Kiwis are birds or people. There are many species of Actinidia. The green and yellow are different species: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiwifruit#/media/File:Actinidia_fruits.jpg@Kiwibird I bought some yellow Kiwis at the grocery. My husband and I have an arguement about where these fruits came from. So we googled. They are originally Chinese gooseberrys. The nickname kiwi fruit came later. I thought they came from New Zealand too. None the less, my boys love the golden kiwis because of the lack of fuzz. What did you think of it?@Kiwibird I bought some yellow Kiwis at the grocery. Have you been getting warm wether too? Second last day of warm here before it plummets down againGreetings All!
It's Monday morning here. Enjoy your ongoing weekend if Monday hasn't reached you just yet!
I think the golden ones are best. Yes, native to China. Known as Chinese gooseberries in my childhood. Once commercial growing began, New Zealand found that the US would not import anything "Chinese" at that point in time, and they were also putting an extra tarriff on "berries" as compared with "fruit", so the name was changed purely for export reasons! My husband and I have an arguement about where these fruits came from. Cold nights, warm days. Really hot yesterday afternoon! Looks as though the temperatures dip a bit next week. It's pretty common to have a cold spell during the school holidays, though, so it will be right on cue!Have you been getting warm wether too?
