They have tasted the Hydrangea but so far after 20 yrs of ducks it is still alive. I just cut it back at the wrong time. Oh yes I walk through the garden dept at Lowes and think I used to have that flower and it is long gone either eaten or trampled into oblivion. It's def the strong survive when you have poultry what the ducks don't tramp on the chickens will dig up.
Hydrangea is quite poisonous, if a dog chews on a stem it will be sick for a while. Not sure about birds.

Need you folks' expert advice please. Are these two (the ones in front) Mulards? They stand much taller than 'scovies but hatched with the typical scovy multi-coloured bills. If I remember well, they also hatched a few days earlier than expected for 'scovies.

Please ignore how wet everything is, we got the tail end of Beryl and it's been raining near constantly for the past two days. EVERYTHING is MUCK!

I'm more concerned about the one up the back that looks like they worked for warner brothers until an unfortunate incident with El Mcthud. Theres a few that don't look completely scovie

That's Derpy, he hatched with a cross-bill, most probably the result of the 60 hour power outage we had.

All the completely feathered ducks in the photo are Quackers, not scovies or mixes.
