Good morning all. I am a little late with the pictures I was going to put up on Sunday. I slept in pretty late, then the school work took over. But here we go
All 3
Not quite twins
And these are the NYH babies that looked almost exactly the same
I hope everyone is doing well...
More cute babies congrats everyone.
I will get pictures tomorrow, when I am not at work and have had some sleep. I love my schedule now, but the two 12 hr days plus half hour drive each way are painful. It is so worth it though.
I ended up so far with 3 babies. I think there are 6 still in...
I think my silkie is trying to go broodie on me again, even though she has no eggs to sit on; although she may be trying to stay warm in this funky weather. If she is going broodie, how long can I keep her going with fake eggs to put eggs I want under her? Does anyone know?

If you get a lone chick out of this hatch, it should blend well with week olds. I would definatley stick it in with the week olds. I do it all the time, I mix ages when they are chicks. They seem to be picking, but really they just check out the new one and soon they are all cuddled...
Happy birthdays. Happy anniversary.
Congrats on all the babies. for the yet unhatched.
I still have only the one and she went to playing sibling soccer, so i slipped her out really quick and put her in with the kids that hatched 2 weeks ago and all is good. She snuggled right up and they...

Sounds like you have someone that is a little impatient there.
daisychick - that sounds like a really neat mix. You will have to keep us updated with photos on those guys.
Still only one chick out, but I set on the 13th as well, so not really due till tomorrow. I do have one pipped...
RareBreedFancier - I am so sorry about the chick. I am really hoping the other one is ok and does wellfor you.
I was up till about midnight last night finishing a small paper for school and checked the bator just before crashing. Couldn't tell for sure if I was seeing slight movement in the...
Short break from homework. I have following, but not posting much. I went into lockdown on Sunday evening. Hopefully they will do well, but this is the first time I have locked down in this incubator and I lost more humidity than I expected. It was at almost 40 this morining, so I added again...
Geesh,,, I think I have a jersey giant trying to go broody on me with no eggs. She was in the box earlier when I came home and would not let me check it, so I figured she was laying. I just went out and locked up for the night. She is still in the box and I blocked her attacks with one hand...

Thank you for that great link. Definately not something I am going to try until I am much better at incubating and candling, but maybe down the road. It looks like there may be some other good info at that site that will keep me occupied too.
Wolftracks I hope you are both doing...
Wolftracks, It is hard enough losing anyone close, but to lose more while you are still grieving is even harder. I am so sorry . I am sending you wishes for strength in such a difficult time.
Snow that is an adorable baby goat. I so want to get some, but don't have the right fencing for them. Someday along with all the other somedays that take $$$$
Debi - I'm sorry
I guess I will give the led's another chance. I must not have gotten ahold of the right ones, as the few different ones I have tried just didn't cut it.
Thank you Heather. It will go away eventually. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of your chicks.
Short check in...
