Can you massage the crop? I know, hard if it is all liquid...but could she have a blockage further along that is compounding everything? Maybe massaging it working down might move something along????

I am trying and she likes me doing it I think, but there cannot be a physical blockage - there is nothing to cause a blockage if you see what I mean. Just water and dissolved chick formula.

Oh yes I saw that sorry Marie I am a bit stunned today, I am getting chicken names all mixed up. And of course I am going backwards, forwards, and answering text about some new critters I am getting (it's a surprise)....

I was up hrs last night with my legs so I am tired....

Add WORK (you know that four letter word that gets in the way of my quality time with my critters) into the mixture, I thought it read Xzit (not Flexi) it was the X I saw only.

I have fallen afoul of this myself. I'm not certain of an easy solution. I know that no one is going to be upset if you offer well wishes after something tragic has occurred. We all understand the spirit in which it is given.

There are times I also struggle with posting something funny or cute when some one is dealing with a difficult situation. I still pack that away and move forward. I think that everyone understands by now and I hope comes for some fun even in times of tragedy.

Thank you for your answer and those of @rural mouse , @Ponypoor and @bgmathteach . I feel somewhat more at ease. I confess that sometimes I don't even dare ask for news. The time range and the number of posts make it impossible to follow every update, I understand. I agree that it's nice to have a lighter note during sad events, though I'm always dramatic about my chickens .

Congratulations! I would say go get a drink to celebrate, but given the temperature and the A/C situation, maybe you should treat yourself to an ice-cream instead. Yesterday was National Ice-cream day in case you need any encouragement.
Does that mean you get the new job?

I still have to interview but I am super optimistic because the test weeds out 95% of the applicants. My friend Byron was the only person out of 50 applicants to pass this test.

Marie’s hen Flexi, had passed away. I feel so very sad for her about losing Flexi. She was a beautiful, friendly lady, like my Rocks-Anne was.

Not having a good day, it's raining we need it but darn my arthritis and back and legs are acting up. I am just dumb as a stump today

Your English is wonderful, and your written English also. I was going to ask how you learnt such good English!

My country is bilingual but I am hard pressed to carry on a conversation in French. I have the utmost respect for anyone who is bilingual and know that if you know another language you are highly marketable as an employee.

Chickens seem to me to be very dramatic creatures so I think being dramatic is completely appropriate!
