From the tilt of her head I'd say she saw something that made her wary. The Buckeyes are afraid of snakes and have done this twice for one (a big one and a small one) and even for frogs but it's been really hard to find / see what they're calling about. When they were young they did it for anything that moved that they'd never seen before.

Sometimes my gals are like that and I just don’t see what they are seeing!

Newfie’s and their Cousins! when there 13 siblings in the family and half of them have four kids a piece, and their spouse also had 10+siblings, with three or four kids each… eventually almost everyone is related somehow!

Yep we love to tell my mum we are like we are bacause she married a 3rd cousin

Cool the temper down, fans of the refrigeration system making noise, no people (including in store PA/music system). Only place better than the cooler is the ice cream freezer (no doors to the shelves, close the door and scream out the frustrations).

Only casualty was a bag of shavings that got ripped too much tongue wagging not paying attention

Alex they could be having trouble of their own. For instance buddy who clipped my car and burst out crying, his 76 yr old mother has cancer, his father slipped on ice hit his head in march and had a subdural hematoma- and his girl friend left him a couple weeks ago. He was speeding through the parking lot trying to get produce put away and get home to his parents.

I know this because I talk to him- get to know everyone. I know everyone from the cleaner to our high school coop kids. They are awesome btw .

Of course yes there are always some jerks out there - I give them 2 chances. If they are still jerks I don’t deal with them, if I have to deal with them and they try to treat me like dirt I call them out on it. I make it very clear I am NOT a young scared kid and that if they tick me off I can make life very miserable for them (if at work), or give as good as I get (if at home).

Tax tax tax - I owe everyone tax!!!

My career taught me, that when I had to get involved with certain people, arrests were performed and the courts would do the judging. I was only the instrument of the court system. (I wasn’t exposed to innocent people on a regular basis)

Made them, but it isn't too hard. Hardest part (well, for me) was to drill perpendicular to cooler wall

Coleman 2 gallon cooler, plus nippple waterers, plus these adaptors (since the nipples aren't long enough to go through the cooler wall), plus thicker gaskets so they don't leak on curvature of cooler. One of these would negate the need for different gaskets.

I LOVE these waterers for the summer...and as you can see, my girls do to. I had JUST put the waterer down after filling/taking pics, and my girls ran right over & started to drink. They know the water is always cold...and it seems 2 gallons is a good amount (the smaller square coolers hold a little over 1 gal., not enough with m y large flock.) I have 3 cooler waterers...two like this, and one using the britetap. The down side for me with the britetap is only 2 nipples, and pricey. That said, it works well and is definitely easier .....

Was going to save these for Thirsty Thursday...but...oh well, lol:

EDITED to add: They picked it up quickly! Once a couple learn, they all figure it out by watching the others.

@bgmathteach did you use a 1/2 inch bit for the adaptor? All of the instructions say 3/8, but that is for the red nipple drinker part. Also, seems you have to screw the red part on tight so that the gasket at the back of the adapter makes a seal with the wall. Is that right? Thanks!
