Oh,Oh, Oh, that just gave me an idea. đź’ˇ

Can you partially freeze plain greek yogurt (so it is slushy, but not frozen solid?) Maybe that will go down the hatch better, and the cold will be soothing, as well??? And, will she do the same thing with frozen peas as with the corn?🤔 :idunno
I do mix some peas in with the corn (more protein). She will typically pick out all the corn first and then eat a few peas but leave the rest.
She will eat frozen chunks of coconut oil and later I will try tiny frozen bits of beef paste (Gerber’s beef baby food which is 100% beef).

I'm glad to hear it is better. I would stick with whole corn if it will go down. I would not do cream corn if there is lots of mucus.
Hmmm, I think @BY Bob is correct. Probably shouldn't do the greek yogurt...dairy can thicken mucus. 🙄 so much for my bright idea. :he ? Maybe the frozen peas, though? Just for variety? I would think they would be similar in consistency for slipping down the sore & congested through??

Edited: I see you responded in between that you already give peas. Frozen mini 'beef balls' sounds like a great idea. Such the clever mom!

@RoyalChick , what about frozen blueberries or spinach?

This was not a friendly visit.

I will try and stop hogging the thread now.

Good idea. I have blueberries and will try those tomorrow.
Or frozen hamburger crumbles....cooked, chopped up into corn sized pieces....

Wonder if smoothies (leave out the dairy due to mucous thickening properties) could be frozen solid spread on a cookie sheet? Break/ cut into cubes/ small pieces...

Add the baby meat into it...

Or assorted types of soup

We had a day and a half of blessidly dry weather. That changes this afternoon. Storms off and on, some of them could be heavy. We are still under a flood watch, but the backwater has went down so at the moment I'm not too worried about a flood. What does bother me is the ground is just saturated still. We moved Russ and Louis down to the barn as their stalls were the worst. Gutted them and due to all the rain have water seeping up in puddles in them. I want my boys home, but I do not want them sleeping and standing in a mud pit. At the earliest, I think they could come back this Friday. Dirt's stall is completely dry. It literally makes no sense. Dirt is not 100% thrilled being a only child, he calls for the boys at times. He does have a stall ready and waiting on him if we do have to move him. My poor chicken coop.....I will also be gutting it as soon as I can as well. It too has not flooded but is a muddy mess.
What a mess this weather is qe never know what's coming next.
I honestly hope you will all be okay
