I'm going to keep moving her outside to try and get her moving more.Well if it neurological then more activity while she is young should help. Just give it time, being out and about is excellent physiotherapy and good for the mind. She is very young still.
I'm so happy you took him in. He needs help. He is lucky you found him.The new kid on the block
Well I went to take a look at the Polish Roo, and immediately took hm, he is full of lice, and could use some weight. And one of the other Roos has tore his right wattle and pecked his poor scalp - poor wee little man.
Anyways a shot of ivermectin will cure the external parasites and take care of any internal ones, and some away time from bossy birds will help him gain weight and grow back feathers.
So there he sits in the garage separated from the rest like Typhoid Mary, I stripped my clothes when I got home not sure if I could carry lice to my gang or not….
He is just over a year, and the lady who had him hatched him out. And while he seeems very docile I imagine most of that is likely because he is poorly. In a couple weeks I am sure he will be a randy Roo
I give you- Pom Pom (I think I will call him Pompei), he is a bit stressed from the drive so I have just kept him in the garage…

This is so tragic.I'm also now starting to see another sad after affect of the flooding. People have not only lost their houses but their barns. In the last 24 hours one of my local horse facebook groups is being flooded with people having to sell their horses. Good horses as well, ones that just a week ago if you had asked them they never had any intention of selling. I feel really bad for them. I'm just glad I'm not in the market for another horse, we could all be saying bad, bad Rebecca.
Amazing! Congratulations!WOW. I am all caught up. I am ready for the final exam!!!
But what am I supposed to do before the final exam..."MAYBE GET BACK TO YOUR FULL TIME JOB."
(Sorry for being so chatty lately.)
They are angry. Yikes!I have a collection of angry mugs for everyone. Why are they angry you wonder? They know Chiquita has chicks. Chicks means there is starter feed available. They also know it is off limits to them unless they are the momma and apparently starter feed is like crack. They do not NEED it, but they MUST have it. Even the one's who turned their beaks up to chick starter as chicks wants it now that they are forbidden to have it. Butter is exceptionally angry and let me know all about it. I let Chiquita out with the chicks for a few minutes and foiled her plans to run into the coop as soon as the door was opened. I sometimes wonder if this obsession with starter feed is why I have chronic broodies.

He surely is amazing. What a great roo!Branch is hands down the best rooster I have ever had with chicks. The minute Bunny decided she was done with George and Twiggy he stepped up and took over baby sitting duty.
Being a dad is hard work, he does not know who needs him more. The pre-teens or Momma and her newborns.
