Yup. The moth is no more.
It is a busy evening at the Chicken Palace. The hawk has wandered off (the crows returning may have something to do with that) and so the ladies are foraging further afield. The long dry grass has seed heads at the top, and there is a cloud of small grey moths flitting around the tops of the grass clumps.
Everyone is going nuts for the seeds and the moths.
Maggie and Bernie have a clear height advantage and do more of a tippy toe stretch and jump, Diana and Lulu use their wings more.
I love watching Bernie leap - such confidence in those tootsies!
And you made that possible by getting her over her disability. Great job by you RC! Excellent work! :clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

Inky gets to stay
I think Inky learned the plan that we are going to invite Ginger back and dump her to another home (maybe through secrete antenna chatting with Lulu...), or maybe the other 5 girls don't want Ginger back 😂 , but they got along totally fine in the confined run today😃.
Inky even dust bathed with them!!

Maybe they just need this one week to settle down since Ginger's departure? Maybe Inky finishing molting and gained more confidence? Maybe it's the fact that Inky won two 1-on-1 battles and earned their respect? I have no idea but all is fine now.

Give them more time. I think they might be figuring this new world out. Exciting!

Will he be able to breathe okay at that altitude? :fl The air is thinner and you said he sometimes has trouble breathing. Assuming he will be okay, I just gotta see him in his helmet & goggles!:thumbsup
I’m sorry, but I’m only kidding about taking Jaffar with me on a flight. The stress would be too much for both myself and him. Best he stay on the ground with his ladies. I will take him on car rides though, (because I love that little squirt!)

Thank you Bob. As you read ahead, you will learn that everything is fine now. Inky will stay and Ginger will be at my friend's house.

My friend loves Ginger, and so does her head rooster. My friend is happy to learn that she gets to keep Ginger. Ginger is living a good life there. She is smart and resilient.
Such good news all around! Chicken math does include subtraction. Right @bgmathteach ?
