My friend loves Ginger, and so does her head rooster. My friend is happy to learn that she gets to keep Ginger. Ginger is living a good life there. She is smart and resilient.

I’m sorry, but I’m only kidding about taking Jaffar with me on a flight. The stress would be too much for both myself and him. Best he stay on the ground with his ladies. I will take him on car rides though, (because I love that little squirt!)

In this case, it is addition for my friend . She somehow doubled her chicken counts this year. She has 30 chickens now in her backyard... One reason is that all her 5 non-silkie babies turned out to be hens.

Yes, it does. Giving away chooks (for whatever reason), losses, processing...all subtractions. Funny thing, they know how to add and multiply...dividing is a bit tricky with them, though. They haven't learned the 'divide and conquer' method yet. Only the 'plead & insist' methods!

Yes but now I am freaked out and guilty as I share a frozen pizza with them while I am sick. That was dumb of me have not heard of poultry affected by why tempt fates?

Horus and Kren have the divide and conquer down pat. They also have subvert down well. Caught a glimpse Cheetah on one of his ladies this afternoon, then he stood there while Horus hopped up for a turn too! At least Hector won't let the others get his girls...unless they sneak in while Cheetah is chasing him. This too shall pass...this too shall pass....this too shall pass
