Yep so much coughing…. Still test positive.

I shared a frozen pizza with the gals, then I freaked out after as I was worried they might catch it 🥺 stupid Kelly! 😥😥😥
Jaffar doesn’t like pizza that much, but he’s having noodles right here now. (Your birds won’t catch Covid, I checked that out)

I've not heard of human to chicken transmission in any study yet. @RoyalChick are there any studies?

Let's Free Range Together!

It looks like all of the girls were out free ranging together tonight.

That's 7 with Phyllis on the nest makes 8. That's correct! This is exciting, more pictures.

There is a global database of suspected human to animal transmission. Many species including cats, dogs, mink, seals, and deer. All mammals.

It has been studied a fair bit in chickens because of fear that if commercial poultry operations became a reservoir it would be somewhat catastrophic. Biological models predict that birds cannot get infected with it and so far all studies have confirmed the models. Same is true for reptiles.

So, at least as we understand it today, our birds are not at risk from catching Covid from us (or giving it back to us for that matter).

Hilarious! But also very lovely. I am so happy to see this, I know you were worried but it really does look like one happy family.

But, what if my bad neighbor is already a snake? 🤔 :gig:oops:

Good to know! I have been staying clear of the horses just in case also.

Betty had a real go at them today but without Phyllis this is going really well.

Dare I say better than any integration went under Lilly's leadership.
