Eggscellent idea.I have frozen eggs before. I beat all the eggs up in a blender, poured them in a muffin tray. I filled 12 cells of the tray with 18 eggs. After eggs all frozen, I put all 12 "egg muffin" in a ziplock bag.
The taste: after eggs thawed out, it looked kinda weird, but it tasted good after scrambled. I didn't really sense a difference from freshly scrambled eggs.
About muffin tray: it was hard to dig frozen eggs out of each cell. If I do it again, I might use some silicon ice trays that makes big ice cubes.
I am doing water glass eggs now.![]()
