That may not be so untrue! I just found a stash of a dozen eggs. And this from hens that only get to free range on the weekends and 3:30 pm till dark on weekdays

Little FLash looked like she wanted lap time, but either doesn't like sharing, or not with the ones already there.

I just love Bridgie on your ankles. "I'm on the human, but shhh...don't tell her!"

Yeah, Flash likes lap time once in awhile, but with the alpha and the beta already there, she didn’t chance getting pummeled.

Anyone else notice the higher ranked birds get more lap time?

Look at those tiny little wing feathers coming in! They will be flying in short order! Another few days and they will start with 'fly-hops', then next thing you know they will be flying short distances and short heights.....then the trouble begins!

Oh I know - I was looking at them also - they will be causing trouble soon haha! So cute

I should have known. Coco is a black chicken with white barring, and BoPeeps is a white chicken with black barring. It was difficult to determine in the dark!
