Guess you have a house guest then! The rest of the birds are already in the coop bedding down for the night
Lovely - just lovely - one day I will have Guineas (and you know the others... haha). If any of you guys are interested in buying guineas. Cackle Hatchery is where I got mine. They have 4 colors. Royal Purple, African White, Lavender, and the most common one, the Pearl. I got 4 of each. I now have 1 royal purples 3 African whites, 0 lavendersand 2 Pearl's (this is in my original group.) My royal purples name in Guineass pronounced (Guinea-iss) He is a sweet man. My two African white males don't have names, as I can't tell them apart. The female is named Ridges. My one surviving lavender is names Mr. Lavender. He is at a person I am very close with(s) house with some other guineas. He was getting bullied by the others, so bad that he almost died. My Pearl's are named Harry and Madame Pearl. Harry is my flock leader, and he is a big, big man. Madame is a little female who mates with Harry during mating season last year. Harry is the grey in the front, Guineass is the brown with the white feather sticking out, and the other is a white male. Those ate all my colors!View attachment 3418313

OK - is it tomorrow you have your 'event'? If so good luck!I am going to sign off for a little, as my phone is low on battery.
Is Aurora telling Hattie 'you try it first' to make sure it isn't tainted???
Yeah, I would but for them I’d never be able to go south for a vacation again…Hey, I've only ever seen snow once! If you can send a little to Ga-Fl border, that would be great!!
I’m also considering importing some lyrebirds, and training them to sing the imperial march from Star Wars to accompany the Goat/cassowary cavalry regiment.Well not quite chickens but I will give you a half credit towards tax owed (they are lovely I want guineas when I win the lottery - and camel, and an emu, and one of @Kris5902 battle cassowary....)
None of mine will eat broccoli. They are like George HW Bush. Can't stand the stuff.Aw Jeeze...got busy and forgot to hit "post". Here's what I meant to post 3 hours ago:
Pretty sure BYC is a fairly safe place for young women. Of course, there are people trying to tempt you...with chickens. I'm with the others, I also thought you were older. Nice to find something you love so young.
I do that with my weight.
And my little flock at snack time.
And what is it with red pepper innards? Those look like they should be delicious but my Princesses strongly disagree.None of mine will eat broccoli. They are like George HW Bush. Can't stand the stuff.
So every morning I have to go out and open the door for just Betty. She doesn't even get up until I open the door these days. She is living well.Sheesh! what on earth! My kiddos have seemed to figure it out finally. And Henny even snagged the coveted spot on top of the top nest box hahaha - she is the 2ic after all...
I guess Betty has decided that she doesn't need the drama!
