It is almost impossible for me to get a picture of any chick other than Piglet. She is a complete camera hog. She literally rushes towards the phone shouting ‘me, me, me’.
I managed to divert her with some food off to the side to get a few blurry pictures including one just for @RebeccaBoyd because all it shows is feathery legs.

Right now, they're babies. They count for something like 1.5 total, except that they're 1st of breeds so don't count anyway...for the most part.

Thing is out and about and found the freshly refilled water tires.

Good morning Thing I am very happy to see you out and about

I think if figured out the genetics on the Sophia babies. They will be black laced blue (or something close to)

So really dark edges to the adult feathers. If the lacing grows in like golden wyandottes, it will start with feather shafts then expand. Black feathers, then noticeable blue shaft, expanding as they grow.

First sip of coffee does interesting things to my brain.
