I found a plastic pad and one large pallet laying around. That along with a little rearranging is working for now.

Tick Talk

The spray that Greg linked is the best option. I also use this due to CHIGGERS. They are horrible on our property. A few important tips about the spray. You have to spray your entire outfit, shirt/pants/socks. The protection is based on a certain number of molecules. And it actually last six weeks/six washings. I keep that stack of clothing separate. Also, once it is dry the treated fabric is safe to wear around cats.

Good to know re: bug spray.

The pallets look like a great solution! Sure hope it dries a bit for you.

He dodges away they are a couplle months old he didnt start that wway so nerves or head injury. He doesnt like to be touched but he didnt mind in the beginning so maybe it does hurt. What should I do for him. Besides pain meds
Not sure. Wish chicken chiropractor existed. Can he sprawl out for sun bathing?

No liquid tylenal. I do have pain meds for my chihuahua from the vets
I would post in the emergencies thread about what med you have. To make sure of proper dosage and if it is safe for chickens (unless your vet was able to give you that info). There are a lot of things a dog can take that other species can not.

You are calling it a snow day today? Everyone stays inside?
Yep, they made a mad dash out the back door to Mnt Poopmore and then the horses started galloping madly bucking and carrying on; I was freaked out the chickens were freaked out. I made the kiddos go up on Poopmore and stay there until I could get them all back in.

The girls made a dash for it when I called them, but Mt P stayed there crowing - I had no choice but to go grab him up and carry him inside. (Good thing he has a nice long tail!)

Everyone is in, and seem to be behaving, so far!
